--- Project started early 1998
--- Members: Sergey Pimenov (DJ/producer) and Alexander Polyakov (composer/sound enginer)
--- 21 February 1998: the first big public appearance in Rostov-on-Don during the most massive regional rave ever, “Syndicate DJ 2000”. Attended by 6500 people, it was broadcast live on regional TV channel. Between February and October of 1998, the members of the project have been working on their first studio album, “Feel INSOMNIA”.
--- August 1998: PPK performs at the biggest annual Russian rave, “KaZantip ‘98”
--- 5th December, 1998: “Feel INSOMNIA” is released on CDs and tapes.
--- 17th July, 1999: “Future Sounds of Rostov”, an album, produced by PPK and containing 17 tracks by various Rostov artists, is released.
--- August 1999: PPK shares its tracks on Internet via MP3.com and begins conquering the world
--- December 1999: “21 Century”, a track produced by PPK, reaches the 2nd place of the main MP3.com chart for the first time.
--- Summer 2000: the new track, “I Have A Dream”, based on the famous speech by Martin Luther King, also reaches the 2nd place in the main MP3.com chart.
--- Fall 2000: the next track, “ResuRection”, for the first time ever reaches the first place. Another track, “Hey DJ”, tops the Hard House Chart for the whole 9 months.
--- PPK tracks were downloaded more than 2,500,000 times in one year.
--- January 2001: New remix of “Hey DJ 2001” (Trance Mix) hits the first place of the main MP3.com chart, leaving Madonna’s “Music” and “Don’t Tell Me” behind.
--- April 2001: World’s No.1 DJ, Paul Oakenfold, starts to play “ResuRection” in his sets worldwide.
--- May 2001: “I Need A Rhythm 2001” tops the main MP3.com chart, leaving Offspring, Madonna, Faith Hill and R.E.M. behind.
--- 30th June, 2001: Paul Oakenfold plays “ResuRection”” live at “Intervention 01” rave held in Moscow.
--- Paul Oakenfold at the press-conference, 29th June 2001: “It would be unfair to say that here, in Russia, music doesn’t evolve. I know PPK, and they have very charming sound. I am very pleased that there are such people in this country, who can really contribute to the music culture worldwide”
--- 3 days after: Paul Oakenfold offers PPK to sign the contract with his label, “Perfecto Records”
--- Several more days after: The contract is signed
--- 8th November, 2001: PPK “ResuRection” is he first Russian track ever to appear in A-list rotation of BBC’s Radio 1
--- 26th November, 2001: PPK “ResuRection” is released worldwide on CDs and vinyls.
--- December 3rd, 2001: One week after released, “ResuRection” appears in the UK Singles Chart right on the third place, becoming the most famous Russian release in UK ever.
