People in the UK tend to accept different styles of music faster than places like the United States. Virtually all of once popular music styles (Here) started off in the US, but since it wasnt accepted, they moved over to the UK and was accepted with open arms. The styles usually "Matured" in the UK, then came back to the US.
It has happened with almost every style in the US... course, Russia made electronic music first (Lev Teremin), but a great deal of it was developed here (Like Techno).

ah kelly lady,am i right in saying that new york,chicago+detroit played the role in inventing and somewhat developing techno?infact what's that fucking guys name who first invented techno before it was blended with acid house?he was from new york.did you watch that programme on channel4(yes we get it here)called pump up the volume-history of house music.it showed that guy.the only thing the uk invented was drum+bass.(fucking wicked shit!)you remember goldie yeah? it'd be fair to say that germany developed techno,ie. kraftwork.but in the late 90's germany has turned 'house' into commercialised shit,ie. progressive-techo.complete bollox.EVERYTHING went to hell since 1998.actually to be fair 1999 was the last year ibiza was anything magical.tunes like sasha xpander,thrillseekers synaesthesia,etc.

I never said that UK created most of the styles, I said that thye pick them up faster than the US market.
FYI: Techno was invented in Detriot Michigan, not Germany.
Acid was invented in the London, blah blah :)

But, on all the sites related to this Chicago based DJ Pierre, it says nothing about him creating Acid (Even his own site), so perhaps there are several DJ Pierres...
